What Happens Next?
Upon receipt of a compliant notice, we will take action in accordance with copyright law, which typically includes removing or disabling access to the infringing material. We will also take steps to notify the individual who posted the alleged infringing content, giving them an opportunity to file a counter notice. We handle every notice with the utmost care and diligence to ensure fairness and legality.
Counter Notice
If you believe your content was wrongly accused of infringement, you may submit a counter notice. This counter notice must contain your name, address, phone number, and physical or electronic signature, the identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled. Additionally, it must include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material. Lastly, it should state your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, or if outside the U.S., for any judicial district in which the service provider may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.
Please send your counter notice to: dmca@trespassletter.com.
